ZIFO / 2021 - 2022
Organizing and maintaining a laboratory ecosystem can be difficult. ZIFO does this with ease by integrating the workflows of a lab into one seamless system. “Cuttle” is the tool that they want to build which can monitor and execute workflows across multiple user profiles.
Our main goal is to create a system that’s tailor made for each user profiles and doesn’t deviate in terms of behaviour and usability.

We conducted the discovery workshop to understand the business goals, define the problem and understand their users. We collaborated with the Stakeholders to understand the workflow from their perspective and try to see how they handle day to day complexities.
We conducted user interviews, gathered their problems and analysed them to curate it in the form of user persona. This helps as a reference point whenever a user story has been placed for a discussion between us and the stakeholder, which helped us not to deviate from the core problems.

Breaking complex problem into simpler ones by decoding them as user scenarios. We brainstormed and narrowed down solution for each user stories by providing task level details. We managed to create user-flow and information architecture guided by our user stories.

Establishing workflow templates for queries streamlines processing, providing a standardized framework for efficient handling. This accelerates the production of results, enhances consistency, and optimizes resource utilization in the task execution process.

Setting up workflows that guide the entire process from query submission to resolution. Workflows may include steps like initial assessment, assignment, progress tracking, escalation, and closure. Automation helps in moving queries seamlessly through these stages.

As the archival stores heavy load of data, the retrieval of specific files is complex. We made sure it can easily be fetched using human based query search rather than complex coding.

As many files would have multiple metadata in it that captures vital information. We made sure creating and managing them can be done easily without dropping a sweat.
The design of archival is made in such a way that, you can easily preview the meta data and details of the file or folder without getting into a dedicated detailed page.
It enables timely decision-making by providing immediate insights into current conditions. This agile approach enhances responsiveness, strategic planning, and overall decision quality in dynamic environments.
